A stained glass spinner with six surfaces at various angles catches the
sunlight and adds a bit of joy to your window. They can be hung outdoors from a
porch ceiling, a tree branch, or a garden hook (in the summer months although I
leave mine out all year in Vermont and it does them no harm). Of course they
also look great indoors hung in a window or from the ceiling.
It measures 8 12 inches wide square and hangs from one foot of silver chain
attached to a fishing spinner which allows it to rotate in a breeze.
Each of the six squares is made from hand cut glass and is three inches
square. This one is constructed from a combination of textured clear glass,
textured dark pink cathedral glass, and the outer border is done with clear
irridized waterglass which gives off metallic tints. This handmade stained
glass piece is done in the tiffany method using copper foil which is wrapped
around the edges of each piece of glass which I then solder together. This was
handmade by me in my home studio. It comes to you ready to hang...a cup hook is
all you need.
This piece ships to you via priority mail with insurance and tracking and is
well packaged to deter damage..
